Account Deletion

At Travel AI we respect your right to delete your account and your personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens when you delete your account.

📱 How to delete your account

To delete your Travel AI account, follow these steps from the mobile app:

  1. Open the Travel AI app on your mobile device
  2. Go to the 'Settings' or 'Preferences' section (gear icon)
  3. Scroll until you find the 'Delete account' option
  4. Tap 'Delete account' and confirm your decision
  5. Your account will be deleted and your data anonymized immediately

⚠️ This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your data or your travel history.

🔒 What happens to your data

When you delete your Travel AI account, we take the protection of your privacy very seriously:

  • All your personally identifiable data is anonymized immediately
  • Your email address is removed from our systems
  • Any content you generated in the app is unlinked from your identity

Data anonymization: Anonymization means your data is transformed in such a way that it can no longer identify you as a person. This guarantees your absolute privacy while allowing us to keep aggregated, anonymous statistics to improve the service.

⏱️ Data retention

Deletion and anonymization of your data takes effect immediately after you confirm the deletion of your account.

We will only keep anonymized data for statistical purposes and service improvement, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current Spanish legislation.

⚠️ Consequences of deleting your account

  • You will permanently lose access to your Travel AI account
  • You will not be able to recover your saved travel history or your favorite artworks
  • If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled with no refund for the remaining time
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Travel AI again in the future
  • Your achievements and progress in the app will be permanently lost
